Episode Details

On our second episode, we take a look at the first shots fired and thus, the official start of the Civil War. On April 12-13, 1861 Fort Sumter was bombarded by the South Carolina Militia. Running low on supplies, the Union had no choice but to give up the fort. We will take a look at the the North and South's buildup of weapons prior to the assault, and of course the battle itself. This wild ride has officially begun!
