People are trying to launch their podcast with down to the second precision and I'm here to tell you that you're going to lose your mind or have a heart attack. 

People will pick a release date (typically not far out enough) and then struggle and freak out trying to make an extremely unrealistic deadline. 

This is especially true when it comes to submitting your show to the directories. Submit to ALL OF THEM, and once you are approved, THEN you can PLAN your launch. 

Being in an app for a week or so won't ruin your launch. There are 580,000 active podcasts (almost 4 million in total) and you're not going to get much traffic until you start telling people. 

Being in apps doesn't get you found, but it does make it easier to be found (kind of, search in these apps is not great).
