Today's guest is Melissa Bright, she has experienced a great deal of pain and grief in her life, as she lost her Mom when she was only 25 years old, and then her father a short ten years later. She has raised a daughter whom she had at 16 without the support of her parents for the last ten years. During that time she struggled with self worth and confidence feeling alone in the world. But then in 2020 when the world was falling apart and so was she, she decided to take control of her life, go to therapy, start a podcast and start living as the real authentic Melissa.  She hasn't looked back since. She is now living out her life's purpose with her podcast and her mission to help others that struggle. Melissa is on a mission to help people not feel alone in their struggles. She is the host and creator of The Bright Side of Life Podcast, a mental health podcast that navigates and discusses people's successful journeys to happiness despite their struggles.
