Told across two timelines, this ten episode series details the tale of Everton, it’s rise, and it’s fall. In the aftermath of WWII, Ernie and Eddie Everett feel the world has become unsafe, more had changed than stayed the same. Ernie wanted to create a suburban paradise, while Eddie had a mysterious tome that promised safety and the return to civility. Together, they created Everton, a town laid out in nonsensical turns, roads lined with “energy siphons” instead of streetlights, and then, everyone vanished in the night. Everton turned into a bed of conspiracy theories and mystery, but that was seventy years ago.
