Dr. Sixtus Aguree, PhD is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Iowa State University with a Research focus on Maternal and Child Health. His research is focused on methods to optimize measurement micronutrient status in women: pregnancy, obesity, and global health as well as functional collaborative working partnerships on health and nutrition with researchers in the US and Ghana. He got his Bachelor’s Degree in nutritional sciences and food science at the University of Ghana. He then went on to get his Master of Science in nutritional epidemiology at the University of Ghana. He worked as a faculty member at University for Development Studies in Ghana before getting her PhD in maternal and child nutrition with a minor in statistics at Penn State University. He currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Iowa State University.
