As high level achievers, happiness actually becomes harder and harder to attain.....ironically.
The 6 figure guy isn't happy until he's a millionaire. The Millionaire business owner is unhappy until they have 8 figures. Then 9 Figures. One Billion. So on and so forth.
We need to stop measuring how much further we have left to go, and instead celebrate how far we've COME from the beginning. This form of measurement is the key to happiness in Ben Hardy and Dan Sullivan's book "The Gap and the Gain'".
