How do we come to a point of believing that God really is in control, that He will carry us through this?

For Christians, praise is worship
Prayer connects us with our creator
Meditation means "To ponder"
     Who we are, our strengths & weaknesses,
     Our Core beliefs, life's purpose,
     Lessons learned,
     And our priorities
