In 2003, Austin Hatch lost his mother, sister, and brother in a plane crash. In 2011, nine days after signing to play basketball at the University of Michigan, Austin lost his father and step-mother to another crash, leaving him the sole survivor of his family at just 17 years old.
Today, Austin talks about how his resilience, faith, courage, and work ethic got him through tragedy and the importance Coach John Beilein played in his life.
