As Christ followers, it is our job to be Jesus to the world. Our speech, our actions, our relationships, what we post, how we spend our time and our money all say things about what being a follower of Jesus looks like. As God’s representation on the earth, what statement are we making with our lives? Is it authentic? Is it real? Is it Christ-like? In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus calls us to live an elevated life – a life of freedom above and beyond the rituals and requirements of the law. Part of this will re-define the idea of authenticity.
