In this episode, we welcome Adam Comer to the show. He is a pastor and the CEO of S2L Recovery. S2L Recovery is a Christian-based, Christ-centered addiction recovery residential care facility for men ages 18-65. Adam himself is actually a graduate of the S2L Recovery program as he used to be completely addicted to opioids. He’s also featured in the documentary The Forgotten Pandemic which tackled the addiction crisis currently going on in the United States. In this interview, we discuss his life as an addict, how he found Christ, why people are ignoring the opioid crisis in the US, why legalizing all drugs is a horrific idea, why secular 12-step programs don’t work for most people, and much more.
