Season 1 Episode 37
Micah Mayfield, videographer of Garand Thumb fame comes back to the show on his lonesome to discuss more behind the scenes details from behind the camera both on the range and when it comes to interacting with the wider gun industry and culture! The lads get into everything from the lack of quality camera guys in the industry who are comfortable around guns, how voice actors have refused to work with Mike and Micah due to their content being firearm centric, the group discusses creative differences and how they deal with them, navigating the treacherous waters of mixing friendships and work, integrity in a world of paid off shill ‘reviewing’ and how the algorithms and media are designed to keep you angry. The lads also discuss how educational content for firearms videographers could potentially help the culture spread quicker by increasing it’s aesthetic appeal to the masses, Micah shares why he’s more of a varmint killer than a hunter and Mitch get’s into ‘Deer fever’, Micah shares his thoughts on filming more survival videos as well as the art mishap for Mike and Micah’s recent episode where Charlie was mistaken for Micah and how that is all Brandon Herrera’s fault somehow, and much more!
