114: Do you know what it is that we've lived this long the way we have? | Alive (1993)

Published 4 years, 1 month ago
Description

It's hard to even put into words the range of emotions that came over me watching this story and delving into this incredible true story. While based on a true story of the Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 about a soccer team that crashed in the Andes mountains in 1972, the film was equally as compelling. I couldn't even slightly imagine what this must have been like to go through.

This was Charles' pick as a film so I get into his history with the film and we talk some differences between the true story and the film, some behind the scenes info, and pose other survival situations.

Off-topic rants include: The Donner party, Into Thin Air, climbers, and Josh Lucas
