For this interview, I talk to one of the latest gems. Maryland based lyricist Backwood Sweetie dropped "Christina Shauntay'", under a fresh name, after a years-long hiatus. And once it came out in the dying weeks of '21, I loved it dearly, and I had to get her story. We go through her beginnings, her initial career, why she came back and, of course, her Top 5.
