The opportunity to dream as a child can be a powerful thing. In this episode, we converse with Dr. Teddy Totimeh, a neurosurgeon at the University of Ghana Medical Center in Accra, about the opportunities he had as a child that enabled him to dream about becoming a neurosurgeon and the many enablers, including mentors and teachers, that helped him to make that dream a reality. We also discuss the challenges of teaching and practicing surgery in Ghana and what it will take to change the status quo in Ghana and Africa.

Teddy Totimeh's book, Aluta Insomnia can be found on amazon and abebooks
