040 17th Century Fast Food

Season 1 Published 4 years, 1 month ago
Description
Without cars - there were no drive-thrus, so was every meal a sit down affair? Of course not. Too much to do - and as we'll soon see - nobody's got time for 3 hot meals a day. Besides, that was practically gluttony.

Apologies in advance for Nursery Rhymes.

Find out what fast food was in the Old World - and why it was often a better bet than home cooked if you lived in the city. And what is was in the New World. They really miss that eel pie and an ale pine in New Plimouth.
