For this episode we traveled to Montgomery to have a discussion with the folks who make our hunting & fishing laws here in Alabama. We speak with director Chuck Sykes, as well as a panel of some of his closest chiefs, directors, and/or advisors. We focus in on the discovery of CWD in Alabama, and discuss subjects such as the fact that this is not the end of deer hunting in Alabama, what the state did to prepare for this ahead of time, why hunters should be concerned but not panicked, some widely held misconceptions about the states response, how some regulations might not have the kind of impact you think, what the future holds and how to stay informed on regulation changes as well as opportunities for you to interact with the people in charge of changes in public meetings.
