There is truly only one correct way to invest your money.
DFA did a study on the best funds over 5 years and 70% of those funds went out of business or underperformed.
If you are employed, generally the best way to start is to get involved in your employers plan.
Social security is not designed to live off of and have a great life with.
Bonds are in your portfolio for security, not a great source of income.
There should never be insurance funds in any kind of qualified plan.
You need to account for inflation in your investment portfolio.
