Mercedes Nicoll has competed in 4 Olympic Games as a snowboarder. When her family moved to Whistler, she left behind her figure skates in Toronto, swapped her skis for a snowboard and started competing locally. nationally, and then internationally. Mercedes' story is about success, struggle, mental health, and getting back to where she belonged.

After one of her best performances at the 2010 Olympics on her home slope in Whistler, Mercedes suffered a hip injury and a concussion in 2014 in Sochi.

And then.. she fought he way back.
