As the Omicron variant surged across the country, the S&P 500 experienced a decline not unlike what we saw in October when the Delta variant was spreading. A near-correction decline in market values is not pleasant, but the stock market needs such things from time to time to clear out unprofitable companies and continue to grow over the long-term.
