Professor Holly Doremus is the Director of Berkeley Law's Law of the Sea Institute. She's been an attorney and law professor for almost three decades. She also has a Bachelor's of Science and a Ph.D. She discusses the law of the sea and the intricacies of international law, how border lines are drawn, and how international law continues to be a bit of the coalition of the willing. We discuss the Arctic, resource harvesting rights, and she humors some of my outlandish questions (think Bond villain lairs). While not essential I recommend you also listen to the "Garden of Doom" episode entitled "Space Chase".
