Pre-Loved Podcast: Deals on Designers
Today's show is with two guests, co-founders of Deals on Designers, an online consignment and vintage shop, Mariya and Paige! Mariya had the idea for Deals on Designers while working at a textile recycling non-profit, RewearAble – she loved secondhand fashion and wanted to find more ways for sustainable, secondhand pieces to make their way into people's closets. She teamed up with Paige, a former co-worker from another job, whose own enthusiasm for the fashion industry was fostered when interning at Tom Ford. While Paige enjoyed the ever-changing landscape of the fashion industry, she also saw a need for brands to incorporate sustainable initiatives into their practices.
And so, Deals on Designers was born! These two have incredible stories about textile recycling, founding a business together, partnering with vintage collectors, and giving back to good causes.
I'm so excited for you to hear all of their stories, so let's dive right into the show!
