Dr. Kim Dwyer, fellow Coloradoan and testing psychologist, is here talking with me about developing and maintaining a values-driven practice. Kim has focused on values-driven practice for several years using an ACT framework and has recently published a workbook (linked in the show notes) that will help guide practice owners through this process. To help illustrate some of these ideas, she turns the tables and takes ME through a values-driven practice exercise during the interview. In our episode today, we also talk about:

  • How to identify your values
  • Common values of a practice owner
  • Areas where our values clash with our behavior
  • Ways to handle it when we get activated or emotionally charged in our business
