Belle Zimet is a mother, author, baker, singer, and bibliophile. Born and raised in Southern California she began voraciously reading young adult horror books and at 11 years old, began writing them herself. First handwritten and then slowly pecked out on a typewriter, they are small relics of the beginning of her love of writing. Her first adult novel was written over many years, during which she became engaged, married, and a mother.
