Today, co-hosts Ellen and Steph are breaking down two racist incidents in the world of hockey — first, in the Eastern Coast Hockey League (ECHL), and second, in the American Hockey League (AHL). One day, this sport will truly be for everyone, but if these stories are any indicator, there’s still so much work to do.
Off the top, we’ll be debuting our first “Olympic Athletes to Watch” segment as we count down the days to Beijing. Spoiler alert — skating and sportsmanship. Need we say more?
