Progressive Democrats Set Their Sights on Corporate America
Description
Former staffers for Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) say there is a 181-page roadmap being developed that urges Democrats to launch an aggressive oversight push targeting America corporations after they take control of Congress next year. The Groundwork Collaborative-backed proposal identifies hundreds of companies and executives for potential investigations, envisioning high-profile hearings where CEOs are hauled before Congress, pressed to resign, and potentially forced to provide restitution to consumers.
FOX's Eben Brown speaks with Darren Botelho, FOX Business Correspondent based in Washington D.C., who shares what this oversight plan is, and how this has the potential to cause great division amongst Democrats.
