Aina, founded by Ultrahuman's former vice president of hardware Apoorv Shankar, unveiled a $399 AI ring with an OLED screen on 5 November 2026.
The ring predicts the three things a user needs next and lets them approve or reject each one with a flick of the Shifter, a four-way thumb control in the band.
It works with iOS and Mac at launch, has a titanium body, up to 18 hours of battery life and a built-in microphone and speaker for AI agents and calls.
Pre-orders open on 5 November with limited $399 Super Early Bird units, while shipping is planned for January 2027.
Aina raised a $5.5 million seed round in July 2026 led by Redstart Labs and has a 40-person team across San Francisco and Bengaluru.
Smart ring shipments grew 49% in 2025 to about 4.3 million units, while Meta's AI glasses sold more than seven million units in the same year.
