The Kirk Cameron Show - What Is Your Vice? Here’s How To Tell If It Controls You. Ep 218
Description
What’s your vice? James picked this one, and I’ll be honest, I walked right into it. We talk about the things we turn to when life gets hard: coffee, a glass of wine, social media, movies, even overthinking. The question is whether those things are helping us cope or quietly running the show.
James brings in C.S. Lewis and The Screwtape Letters, and we get into the difference between the “black vices” everyone recognizes and the “white vices” we tend to excuse. Good things can become ultimate things, and idols make terrible gods. Then it’s my turn in the hot seat (yes, my two cups of coffee came up), and I share what I’ve found helps most when stress, anger, or anxiety hit: turning to thanksgiving and praise instead of numbing out.
Don’t just admit the vice. Turn it into a virtue.
