A Reflection For When We’re Tired Of Waiting 

Sometimes we get tired of waiting.

Waiting for opportunities.

Waiting for resources.

Waiting for answers.

Waiting for things to change.

But like the psalmist, we wait “patiently for the Lord.” — from Psalm 40:1

We wait actively, not passively. Hopefully, not fearfully. Joyfully and lovingly.

We wait faithfully, trusting in the presence and power of God’s steadfast love to deliver us.
