Oregon Defeats Northwestern 34-28 | HUGE Ohio State Matchup Looms
Description
ScoopDuckOn3's Max Torres and Justin Hopkins sit down to give their reaction to Oregon Football's 34-26 win over the Northwestern Wildcats in Eugene.
Oregon's offense was slow out of the gate but really picked up steam in the middle eight, as quarterback Dylan Raiola was willing to push the ball down the field and give his skill talent a chance to make some massive plays. Dakorien Moore recorded his first 100-yard performance as a Duck and we also saw the emergence of freshman running back Brandon Smith after Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill got banged up and didn't play in the second half.
Oregon's defense didn't have a huge day statistically, but the Ducks showed up when it mattered most and made some huge plays. They largely bottled up quarterback Aidan Chiles in the second half and brought him down for three sacks in the fourth quarter as they slammed the door closed and came away with a confidence-boosting win at home in Eugene.
Now Oregon Football heads to Columbus for a huge matchup against the No. 11 Ohio State Buckeyes.
