Small Creator? DON'T QUIT! | My YouTube Journey, Struggles & Lessons Learned
Description
Everybody sees the subscribers. Nobody sees the late nights, sacrifices, frustrations, and hard work behind the numbers.
If you're a small YouTube creator wondering whether it's worth continuing, THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU!
In this special episode of the Victory U Podcast, I'm stepping away from our usual theological discussions to share something personal: my journey of starting and building a YouTube channel while balancing life as a pastor, husband, father, educator, and author.
From creating content that barely gets noticed to celebrating thousands of subscribers and reaching audiences around the world, this journey has taught me some valuable lessons about consistency, discipline, purpose, and perseverance.
And trust me, it hasn't always been easy!
We're talking about:
🔥 The real reason I started Victory U
🎥 The late nights, editing, and sacrifices nobody sees
📉 What to do when your videos aren't getting views
💡 Why the YouTube algorithm doesn't determine your worth
📈 The lessons I've learned growing a small channel
🙏🏾 How faith, purpose, and discipline keep me going
❤️ Why building a meaningful community matters more than chasing numbers
Here's what I've learned: Small doesn't mean insignificant, and slow growth doesn't mean you're failing.
Whether you're starting a YouTube channel, launching a business, building a ministry, or pursuing a dream, don't allow comparison, discouragement, or slow progress to convince you to quit.
You may be further along than you realize.
