An advocacy group opposed to euthanasia is highlighting a case where a doctor carried out an assisted death in 2024 without the legally required registrar review and using expired drugs prescribed for another patient.
Voice For Life say it uncovered the breach through Official Information Act requests but are concerned about the state of safeguards in the assisted dying regime. Voice for Life President Lydia Posthuma spoke to Guyon Espiner.
