Is there Purpose in the Cosmos? (The Philosopher's Zone)
Published 5 days, 1 hour ago
Description
To many people, the notion that the universe has consciousness and purpose belongs back in the pre-scientific era. In this program, Philip Goff (Professor of Philosophy at Durham University) explores the possibility that cosmic purpose is defensible not only philosophically, but also scientifically. This comes from a 2023 episode of the ABC Radio National show, the Philosopher Zone, with David Rutledge.
