Episode Details

The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles are both desperate for a win, and Sunday Night Football could have major implications for Dan Quinn, Jayden Daniels and the NFC East race.

Washington (1-4-1) returns from its bye week to host the Eagles (2-5) in a critical divisional showdown. With Philadelphia riding a five-game losing streak and Jalen Hurts sidelined, can the Commanders finally take advantage and turn their season around?

Jayden Daniels threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns in Washington's 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but questionable decisions, offensive line struggles and another frustrating loss have put the spotlight back on the young quarterback and his coaching staff.

On today's Commanders Squad, Nick Ashooh, former Washington wide receiver Anthony Armstrong and David Harrison break down the biggest stories surrounding the Commanders heading into Sunday Night Football.

Today's biggest topics:

• Jayden Daniels: The good, the bad and the frustrating. Is Washington's franchise quarterback developing despite the losses?
• Dan Quinn's future: Another disappointing start, questionable game management and growing pressure on the Commanders head coach.
• Terry McLaurin injury: How does Washington replace its star receiver following his season-ending knee injury?
• Stefon Diggs and Antonio Williams: Who steps up in the Commanders passing game?

• NFL trade deadline: Should Adam Peters consider making moves if Washington continues to struggle?

The Eagles already beat Washington 24-22 in Week 1. Now the Commanders have a chance to get some revenge and potentially change the direction of their season.

Is this the game that saves Washington's season, or will another loss turn up the pressure on Dan Quinn even more?
