Episode Details

On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast the bros return in probably the worst Halloween costumes they could find (Mario & Luigi) to jumpstart Halloween Weekend. The Bros start with the Weekend Recap that’s going to soon turn into a Weekly Recap as we’ve made this transition back to Fridays.

First the Bros talk about a viral clip from Michelle Obama’s Podcast where she’s interviewing the Wayans Brothers. In the Clip, Damon Wayans talks about an interesting family dynamic between the Men and how they respect each other. Next, they discuss another viral clip that was shared heavily during the weekend, the famous Eddie Murphy was the center of some internet drama after this clip showed him seemingly dimming the Comedic light of Bernie Mac. The Bros talk about why Eddie would make these comments, shine light on Bernie and shoot down some crazy statements made about Eddie in light of this.

Next Terrance tells Terrell to think forward to the year 2036 and leave a message the Realest9 can come back and see 10 years from now. This starts a conversation about what the Bros think will change over the next 10 years and where they hope to be. This leads to a conversation the Bros are probably arguing about as you read this where Terrance believes AI can help people grieving while Terrell VEHEMENTLY disagrees. They talk Brad Bird’s comments about the Incredibles Super Power origins, Ava DuVernay and her new documentary “14th”, They talk the new director for FRIDAY set to start Ice Cube.

Next the Bros discuss Jay-z confirmed at Half-Time Show, the song he should open with and briefly discuss Cordae and Anderson .Paak’s new album. The conversation  heats up when they talk about the iPhone DUO. Terrance talks more about how he wishes he could experience the phone first before seeing so many online reviews where as Terrell see’s a real benefit in the content creators sharing what they like and don’t like about the new phone.

Lastly the Bros discuss Instagram testing a new long form video feature that will compete with YouTube allowing people to upload videos horizontally.
