Published 1 day, 15 hours ago
Description
Breaking from our usual agricultural outlook this week to focus on something a little different— Halloween. Good news is that most of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the BC Peace Region should stay dry for trick-or-treating Saturday night. The catch? It could be a little chilly, so winter coats may be needed underneath or over top of the costumes. Across the Peace Region, expect a mix of sun and cloud, highs in the mid-single digits, but temperatures could drop fast after sunset. Much of Alberta will see sunshine, highs in the low single digits on Halloween Day. Southern Alberta will be the rest of the province will be milder, even reaching the high single digits, but east-central Alberta, including the veteran area, will stay below freezing all day long. Saskatchewan warmer, highs of 8 to 12 degrees across parts of the south, and while southeastern Saskatchewan runs the risk of freezing rain, if you're within the sound of my voice, your Halloween should be dry. Brought to you by BASF Agricultural Solutions Canada, helping farmers do the biggest job on earth, no matter the weather.
