Sandra Birchmore Told Farwell's Twin She Was 15, and He Wrote THIS
Description
In the Matthew Farwell trial, his twin brother William took the stand with immunity and walked through his own years with Sandra Birchmore. Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins me on what his choices say about him. William, a Stoughton cop, started an affair with Sandra in 2018, when she was in her early 20s. When she told him she was 15 the first time Matthew slept with her, he says he didn't believe her. In January 2021, with Sandra pregnant, he texted that it was "a horrible idea" and he "can't and won't be in the middle of it." Months after she died, he joked about Matthew wiping his phones. He resigned from Stoughton police during the internal investigation. Prosecutors say Matthew strangled Sandra and staged a suicide, and he has pleaded not guilty.
