Brandon Boudreaux had filed a memo attributed to Melani's new husband about her being told Brandon needed to die. By November 2020, she was on track to share decisions about the kids again. JJ and Tylee were found that June, and Lori and Chad Daybell were later convicted of their murders. Melani testified for the State at Chad's trial. We ask what it takes to admit you were fooled, and whether anyone owes her a second chance. Melani has never been charged in the shooting at Brandon and denies any part in it.
