Mark 2:13–17 Religion draws lines around who’s in and who’s out, but Jesus consistently crossed those lines. He called a despised tax collector named Levi to follow Him, crossing every line religion had drawn. The religious leaders were scandalized. Pastor Chuck Swindoll unpacks Mark 2:13–17, showing that Jesus intentionally pursued the very people the religious establishment rejected. He declared, “I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Set God free from the box of legalism. Welcome the Jesus who embraces the broken, the outcast, and the undeserving, and step into a grace-filled life of freedom and joy!
