NFL Contender or Pretender Week #8 Edition
Published 1 week, 3 days ago
Description
Pat Boyle and Brad Evans break down four NFL playoff hopefuls in another edition of "Contender or Pretender" heading into Week 8. The guys debate whether the Detroit Lions are bona fide Super Bowl threats with key pieces returning to their secondary, if Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars can overcome their flaws against elite teams, why Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers might be headed for a familiar wild-card fate, and why the Dallas Cowboys’ defense leaves them firmly in pretender territory. Plus, early reactions to AJ Dybantsa’s NBA debut with the Washington Wizards and updates from around the league.
