Wednesday, October 28: Odd Things in the Butt, The Melonheads, The Real Haunting in CT
Description
In Dumb Ass News, a Florida thief attempted to steal Tiffany diamonds by swallowing them. It did not work, and the Tribe followed the story with their own stories of strange things they've had in their butt. (0:00)
Michael Bielawa, an author, historian and legend-keeper was in studio to talk with Chaz and AJ about the legends around some famous hauntings. From the Lake Ronkonkoma's "Lady of the Lake," to CT's infamous "Melonheads." (6:03)
The story became a movie, but the real experiences of the family haven't quite been captured fully. Chaz and AJ spoke with "John," who shared what he knew of his aunt, uncle and cousins' experience at an old funeral home, which inspired the movie "The Haunting in Connecticut." (18:03)
Chaz and AJ talked about the death of Susan Saint James, who was known for her acting by most, but she had quite a mark on local radio as well. Kristin Okesson, Regional Senior Vice President/Market Manager with Connoisseur Media, began her career in radio at age 16 after being hired by Susan. (34:02)
