EverTogether is an innovative residential memory care model at Brookridge in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, created by ThriveMore to let older adult couples live in the same home even when one partner has dementia.
How the Design Works
Circular Layout: The community features 12 specially designed homes.
Independent Living Front: The front area of the home is an age-friendly space for the partner without cognitive impairment.
Secure Studio Back: The back of the home contains a secure studio suite for the partner living with dementia.
Shared Amenities: Residents share a secured interior courtyard and have access to an adult day care program.
Specialized Care Approach
Mindful Impressions Program: Care is guided by a signature dementia care program developed in partnership with Rachael Wonderlin and Dementia by Day.
Trained Staff: Team members complete extensive, dedicated dementia education.
Preserving Partnership: The model prevents the emotional distress of traditional care facilities by letting couples share daily life and waking hours.

For iPhone users:
To set it up: Open the Health app → tap your profile picture → Medical ID → Edit. Enter your medical information and emergency contacts. Enable Show When Locked.
How responders access it: From the locked screen, swipe up to the passcode screen → tap Emergency
