Carolina 89 Charlotte 82 - The Postgame Show | Inside Carolina Analysis | College Basketball

Episode 2367 Published 18 hours ago
Description

Inside Carolina basketball analyst Rob Harrington joins Tommy Ashley for a breakdown of North Carolina's final preseason exhibition against Charlotte. The Heels came back in the second half and beat the 49er's in overtime, 89-82.

The Tar Heels struggled to get things in gear and Wes Miller's team took advantage building a 29-14 lead in the first half. UNC's Terrence Brown got the Carolina offense going for a stretch and the Heels eventually cut the lead to three, 36-33, at half. Brown continued his scoring in the second half and while careless turnovers and poor rebounding kept Charlotte close, the Heels needed a late 'Chris Webber' technical foul to get the game to overtime before pulling way in the extra time.

Harrington and Ashley hit on the positives while discussing the trouble spots as Michael Malone's team wraps the preseason with a needed win and the regular season opens on Monday night.
