Drone Deer Recovery: Are Drones Good or Bad for Hunting? w/ Mike Yoder | Just Hunt Podcast Ep. 57
Description
Whether you love them, hate them, or can't make up your mind, drones are here to stay in the hunting space. This week we sit down with the founder of Drone Deer Recovery, Mike Yoder, to discuss the impact of drones on hunting. We had a great time hearing Mike's story, sharing perspectives, and discussing where would be a practical place to draw the line with drone laws in order to have a positive impact on hunting as a whole. We cover:
- Which states allow drones for deer recovery
- Legal issues between hunting guidelines and state laws
- Success rates when using drones to locate wounded/dead deer
- When is it no longer fair chase?
- The reality of how many people are already using drones
- What's good about them, and what scares us
- Whether they should be used to scout/assist in a hunt
and much more. Thanks for watching!
