Description

What does it take to turn a local legend into a compelling piece of audio storytelling?
For almost 35 years, a mysterious man carrying a large white cross was a familiar sight across West London. Then, he disappeared.
Redemption Man was created by Chris Mitchell for the British Podcast Award and Royal Television Society Technology Award nominated Pilot Season, alongside Bernard P. Achampong, founder of Unedited and one of the people behind the initiative.
Chris and Bernard discuss the origins of Redemption Man, the investigative process behind bringing this remarkable story to life, and the creative collaboration that helped turn an intriguing mystery into a six-part audio documentary.

Pilot Season has been a finalist in the British Podcast Awards (Network or Publisher of the Year) and the Royal Television Society Technology Awards (Creative Innovation Project of the Year). They have also won awards for individual pilots  www.weareunedited.com/trophy-cabinet
