Sandra Birchmore Was Scared of Her Apartment After Farwell Did This
Description
The day before she died, Sandra Birchmore told her therapist she was worried something would happen to her in her own apartment. Her texts from eight days earlier, already in evidence, describe Matthew Farwell asking for a key and looking in her closet. Federal prosecutors say the former Stoughton detective strangled Sandra in that apartment to keep her from reporting him. His lawyers say she took her own life, and on October 23rd they built that case from her words: a 2020 Facebook message, her mental health notes, and the Zoloft she'd started two weeks before. Robin Dreeke and I weigh that against her therapist, who says Sandra never reported suicidal thoughts and who had to call the State Police herself. The government plans to rest October 28th.
