Episode Details

Syracuse Orange Basketball & Gerry McNamara shake up preseason expectations as true freshman Ryan Moesch emerges as a breakout playmaker in exhibition action. Can Moesch's grit and surprising rebounding give Syracuse a new spark at point guard? The conversation focused on Syracuse's 3-game stretch against UConn, Siena, and Niagara, spotlighting standout performances and areas for concern as the regular season approaches.

A key theme that emerged was concern over Kiyan Anthony’s shooting struggles and defensive lapses—will he regain his form or lose minutes to the Orange’s deep wing rotation? Luke Wilson solidified his spot as starting center, while Francis Folefac’s quiet showings raise questions about his role moving forward. The discussion explored lineup options, injury updates for Aiden Tobiason, and the team's potential strengths and weaknesses as they prepare for their November 2nd opener against New Haven. Can this new-look Syracuse roster take the next step and return to the NCAA tournament?
