Sandra Birchmore's Medical Examiner Was Never Asked to Consider THIS

Sandra Birchmore's Medical Examiner Was Never Asked to Consider THIS

Published 6 days, 12 hours ago
Description

In the Matthew Farwell trial, the people closest to Sandra Birchmore told investigators something was wrong, and on October 26, 2026, jurors heard what actually reached the doctor who ruled on her death. Sandra's longtime therapist, Diala Alkhalil, testified she never saw Sandra as actively suicidal and called State Police after she died. Friends and Sandra's hairdresser reached out to investigators too, according to earlier testimony. The medical examiner testified her office asked State Police for updates in 2021 and got nothing new to report. Five days later she ruled suicide. On cross-examination, Farwell's lawyer Joanne Daley took the therapist through Sandra's 2017 journal pages and a 2020 psychiatric hold. By January 2021, she testified, Sandra was texting her almost every day. I connect those calls to that email and to the man who sent it, State Police supervisor John Fanning. Farwell's twin brother returns to the stand October 27.
