Some people are celebrities. Some are legends. And then there's Dolly Parton. ❤️ This week on Really… with Sierra & Michael-Thomas, we're celebrating the life, music, laughter, and extraordinary legacy of the one and only Dolly Parton. As two lifelong admirers from the mountains of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee, Dolly has always felt like one of our own. From our unforgettable experience seeing her live in Knoxville in 2011 to the songs, movies, and memories that shaped our lives, we're sharing what made this Appalachian icon so special to us. We're reminiscing about classics like "Jolene," "9 to 5," and "I Will Always Love You," her unforgettable performances in Steel Magnolias and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and the incredible generosity behind Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Along the way, we talk about Appalachian pride, embracing who you are, the power of kindness, and how one woman with big hair, an even bigger personality, and an extraordinary heart made the world a little brighter. There are tears, plenty of laughs, a few questionable tangents, and a whole lot of love for our patron saint of Tennessee. Dolly, honey, you done good. ❤️ #DollyParton #DollyPartonTribute #AppalachianPride #ReallyPodcast #countrymusic 🎙️ Really… with Sierra & Michael-Thomas — two best friends, absolutely ridiculous conversations, and a little heart along the way. 🎧 Watch, listen, and follow: https://bit.ly/reallypod Tell us in the comments: What's your favorite Dolly Parton song, movie, or memory? 📚 Keep Dolly's Legacy Alive!
