Episode Details

On The Homer Hour, Homer and Brian Bulaga react to the Packers' frustrating loss to the Lions, questioning how Green Bay managed to waste another winnable game. The guys praise John Williams' surprising performance at center and Keisean Nixon's clutch defensive play but explain why missed field goals, dropped passes and penalties overshadowed everything positive. Then, Jason Wilde joins the show to discuss Trey Smack's struggles and why the Packers are unlikely to make a change at kicker despite his two missed short field goals. Wilde and Bulaga also question Green Bay's offensive-line evaluations after Williams stepped in and performed better than expected despite limited experience at center. Plus, is this Packers team actually better than its record suggests? The guys debate whether Green Bay has the talent to make a playoff run or if its repeated mistakes will continue costing games. Bulaga explains why the defense remains a strength, Josh Jacobs could improve the rushing attack and the Packers desperately need more consistency before it's too late.
