RHOSLC S7 E6 Recap: Hypocrisy, BS & a Brunch Gone Wrong
RHOSLC S7 E6 — “Boss Up or Shut Up”
The ladies are back in Utah, and the drama is still serving hypocrisy, bullshit, and questionable apologies! Mary Cosby hosts her Boss Lady Brunch in an attempt to bring the group together, but instead of finding clarity and connection, she gets a front-row seat to another round of accusations, hurt feelings, and friendship betrayals.
Meanwhile, Angie K. opens up about the struggles in her marriage to Sean, Bronwyn’s personal and financial life raises eyebrows, and Whitney’s alleged plot to take Meredith down becomes the center of the latest controversy.
Angie and Mary’s Champagne Catch-Up
Angie prepares for Mary’s visit with high-heeled cleaning, bargain-priced decor, and a bottle of champagne that Mary immediately declares a snoozefest. Angie jokingly compares the wine to Meredith, then pours it out of a teapot because apparently, even the serving dishes are part of the chaos. Angie admits she is struggling in her marriage, but acknowledges that Mary is dealing with something much heavier. As Angie recounts the latest trip drama, Mary questions how the women could go from talking about being a family to behaving the way they did.
Brittani’s Birthday Party and Bronwyn’s Financial Questions
At Brittani’s daughter Olivia’s 21st birthday party, the women take shots and revisit their infamous performance of “Hypocrisy and BS.” Bronwyn reveals that her house sold for more than expected, but Heather questions why she traveled to Florida to meet Brandon’s parents. The conversation also raises eyebrows about Bronwyn’s relationship with Brandon, especially now that the financial arrangement between them is part of the discussion.
Bronwyn challenges Whitney over Ashley’s claim that she never said anything negative about Meredith. Whitney insists Ashley is lying, but the evidence she offers about Meredith being a different person than she was seven years ago hardly seems like the smoking gun everyone expected.
Mary’s Boss Lady Brunch Turns Into a Boss-Level Mess
Mary brings the ladies together for her Boss Lady Brunch, hoping to create a space for honesty and connection. Instead, Bronwyn arrives ready to revisit the “Hypocrisy and Bullshit” performance, while Angie shows up wearing a tie despite Mary repeatedly saying ties were not welcome.
Mary also reveals that Robert Sr. sent the women beautiful floral arrangements as party favors. She explains how much their support meant to her during a painful time, particularly because her family had largely abandoned her when she gave birth to Robert Jr. The gesture is heartfelt, but the women quickly return to their usual drama.
Bronwyn Wants an Apology, Meredith Wants the Lawsuits Sealed
Bronwyn is offended by the women’s performance and feels that Meredith and Lisa should apologize for hurting her feelings. Meredith argues that the performance was not specifically directed at Bronwyn, then takes a shot at her with the line about sealing her mouth like her lawsuits.
Meredith eventually offers an apology, saying she is genuinely sorry if her actions hurt Bronwyn’s feelings. Bronwyn accepts the response, but Lisa refuses to feel bad about the performance and even starts singing the song again. Lisa explains that apologies are about authenticity, while her confessional makes it clear that an apology from her comes at a very high price.
Whitney then complains that she has waited seven years for an apology from Meredith, joking that a female president will arrive first.
Did Whitney Put Together a Team to Take Meredith Down?
The brunch takes a more serious turn when Meredith claims Whitney assembled a team to get her out of the group. Ashley steps forward and says she heard Whitney talk about wanting
